IOI (ACTRESS LINE) PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS

Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of IOI. This was requested in the comments section of my Weeekly plastic surgery analysis video. I'm personally not too familiar with the group, so please excuse possible mistakes I may have made. I have done an analysis on Chungha and Somi in the K-pop Female soloist analysis K-POP FEMALE SOLOIST PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS (moncatcher.blogspot.com), Yeonjung in my Cosmic Girls analysis (WJSN PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS PART 2 (moncatcher.blogspot.com), and Yoojung and Doyeon in my Weki Meki plastic surgery analysis (WEKI MEKI PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS (moncatcher.blogspot.com). Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.

DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.

NAYOUNG

Nayoung has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online. She has always been really pretty. I initially suspected that she got a rhinoplasty as her nose looks really small for the proportions of her face, but after looking at her pre-debut photos, we can see that her nose has always been really small. I think her nose may be natural though I also think it's possible that she got a nose implant to make her nose taller since her nose looks over-projected from the side profile view to me. Her eyes look slightly larger both horizontally and vertically compared to the pre-debut photos. I think she got her inner and outer eye corners cut to make her eyes horizontally larger and ptosis repair to make her eyes open wider vertically.

In conclusion, I think Nayoung likely got her inner and outer eye corners cut and possibly a rhinoplasty. She has always looked great, and I don't think the possible procedures were necessary. Let's support her acting career.

SEJEONG

Sejeong has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online. She has always had a wonderful smile. I think Sejeong likely got ptosis repair as we can see more of the upper part of her iris now compared to the pre-debut photos. Sejeong has claimed that her eyelids are natural. We can see that she has always had double eyelids since childhood, I believe she truly didn't get eyelid surgery. Her cheeks look a lot slimmer compared to her pre-debut photos. I think this is probably caused by weight loss and the natural ageing process. Her nose appears slightly slimmer compared to the pre-debut photos. She may have gotten subtle rhinoplasty, though I'm not too sure about this as her nose may very much be natural. Her lips are fuller now, she likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips.

In conclusion, I think Sejeong likely got ptosis repair and fillers to her top and bottom lips and possibly got a subtle rhinoplasty. She has always looked amazing. I love how successful she is as an actress. I wish that she will be even more successful in the future.

CHAEYEON

Chaeyeon has admitted to getting a rhinoplasty. It's really nice to see idols admitting to getting work done, good on her. We can see that her nose used to be rounder, larger and flatter compared to how it looks like now. I think a nose implant was involved in the rhinoplasty. The procedure was really well done and enhanced her beauty nicely. She lost a lot of weight since her pre-debut days which changed her appearance quite drastically as the weight loss brought out her incredible bone structure. I personally think she also got subtle double eyelid surgery. We can see that the distance between her eyes and eyebrows have decreased slightly. This can be a side effect of double eyelid surgery. The possible procedure was really well done and looks natural. 

Pre-debut Chaeyeon vs. Recent Chaeyeon

In conclusion, I think Chaeyeon likely got double eyelid surgery. She has also admitted to getting a rhinoplasty. The accident that happened to her while shooting is really unfortunate. I'm glad she's okay now. I wish her the best for her career.

KYULKYUNG/JIEQIONG

Jieqiong has a lot of pre-debut photos, she didn't seem to have changed much at all and has always been pretty. She has always had nice, slim and tall nose bridge and big eyes. Her right eyelid used to be slightly smaller than the left while they are the same size now. She may have gotten an eyelid correction to fix this problem, though it's also possible that she fixed it by training her eyelids using eyelid tape. Sometimes, her lips look slightly fuller in recent years. She may get fillers to her top and bottom lips sometimes but isn't trying to keep up the look too much.

In conclusion, I think Jieqiong sometimes gets fillers to her top and bottom lips and possibly got eyelid correction to her right eye to equalize her eyelid size. She is truly blessed with good looks. I wish her the best for her career.

SOHYE

Sohye has always been adorable and didn't seem to change too much. I initially suspected that she got a rhinoplasty as her nose is really tall and straight. Her nose has always been tall and straight since childhood, so I believe her nose is likely natural. Recently, her lips have been fuller. She likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips. We can also see that the lower part of her face is narrower compared to the pre-debut photos. She likely got botox injections to her jaw muscle to make her jawline slimmer.

In conclusion, I think Sohye likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips and botox injections to make her jawline smaller. She has always been pretty. I wish her the best for her career.

MINA

Mina has always had a big, beautiful smile and pretty eyes. She didn't seem to have changed much. She lost a lot of weight since her Produce 101 days which is likely the reason why her face became a lot slimmer. Other than that, the only noticeable change to her face is her chin. Her chin is now longer and pointier, this was likely achieved by a chin implant.

In conclusion, I think Mina likely got a chin implant. She has always looked amazing. I wish her the best for her career.

I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
