WJSN PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS PART 2
Hello everyone, this is the second part of my WJSN plastic surgery analysis post where I will be discussing about Eunseo up to Yeonjung. The first part of this post where I analyzed Seola up to Dawon is available on my blog under the "WJSN" tag. Again, I'm personally not familiar with the group, so this post will be more straight to the point than my usual posts. I think plastic surgery is neither bad nor good. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.
DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.
EUNSEO
Eunseo has a lot of pre-debut photos online and she has always been very pretty and I don't see many changes to her face. Her eyelids are likely natural as they are not symmetrical and aren't very deep.
I am personally quite suspicious of Eunseo's nose as it looks over-projected for the proportions of her face. But her nose didn't look too different from the pre-debut photos available, it seems to me that her nose is likely natural.
In conclusion, I think Eunseo is likely natural. She's truly blessed with good looks, she has such an amazing nose and I found it hard to believe that her nose is likely natural.
CHENGXIAO
Chengxiao has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos, she too have always been really pretty. I don't see many changes to her face. To me, the only change I see is that her current nose tip looks shorter than how it was during pre-debut, she likely got a nose lift to achieve this look.
In conclusion, I think Chengxiao got a nose lift. She is gorgeous both pre-debut and now.
MEIQI
Meiqi doesn't have as many pre-debut photos online as the previous two members in this post, so I might miss some procedures. It seems to me that she got double eyelid surgery, as her eyelids in the pre-debut photos have always looked to be small. While in the recent photos her eyelids are a lot higher and she has a clear consistent line on her crease when her eyes are not fully open. I also suspect that she got a rhinoplasty as her current nose looks to be too thin for the proportions of her face. We can also sometimes see a shape resembling an implant on her nose. The pre-debut photos of her that I found are pretty blurry, so this speculation is purely due to how her current nose looks.
YEOREUM
I couldn't find many pre-debut photos of Yeoreum, so I might not be able to make a speculation I'm confident in. She has always been adorable. I personally think she got double eyelid surgery, this is mostly due to how her eyelids currently looks. Her eyelids are very clear and consistent while it didn't look like she had double eyelids in her childhood photo. It's totally possible that her double eyelids developed naturally as she aged or with the help of eyelid tape. Same with Soobin, I don't think I can come to a speculation I'm confident in for Yeoreum as I cannot find enough good pre-debut photos of her.
In conclusion, I think Yeoreum got double eyelid surgery, though I'm not confident about this speculation as I don't have enough good pre-debut photos of her. I love her cute visuals.
DAYOUNG
Dayoung has adorable pre-debut photos online, I don't think she changed too much compared to her pre-debut photos. I will discuss the changes I see between her childhood photo and her photo when she is already promoting in Cosmic Girls. I personally don't see any significant changes to her face, I think it's likely she got subtle lip fillers to her top and bottom lips as her lips look more plump in the photo in the middle.
Recently she went viral because fans noticed how different she looked in a live stream. I think she looks different in the recent photo because of the angle of the photo, when an object gets too close to a camera, the object can look slightly distorted. This can also happen to an object if they are captured using the selfie camera of a smartphone, this is why people can look wildly different when captured using a selfie camera compared to a regular camera.
Now to the actual changes to her face, I think her face got puffier in general. When a face appears more puffy/full this can be caused by bloating or fillers. I think she got more aggressive fillers to her top and bottom lips, I think this is what caused her to look so different. I also notice that she has more volume on her face overall, focus on her forehead and cheek area, she might've gotten fillers or fat grafting to these areas. The combination of camera angles and possible fillers made people perceive that her face has changed drastically in my opinion.
YEONJUNG
Yeonjung has adorable pre-debut photos. She looks to have double eyelids in her recent photos, but I do think this is due to eyelid tape as she doesn't always have double eyelids and her eyelids also look to be shallow, this is more likely to be the result of eyelid tape. I think she got a rhinoplasty, we can see a shape resembling an L-shaped implant on her nose in the recent photo. We can also see clear straight lines on the sides of the bridge of her nose, this is usually a sign of rhinoplasty. Her lips are also more full now, she likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips.
In conclusion, I think Yeonjung got rhinoplasty, fillers to her top and bottom lips, chin implant and botox injections to her jawline. I think the possible procedures were really well done and enhanced her beauty in a really nice way.
I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society. The members of Cosmic Girls are all gorgeous. They are currently competing in Queendom 2 and I love their performances so far, I would like to wish them good luck and hope for the best results for them.
