WONDER GIRLS PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS

Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of Wonder Girls. This was requested in the comments section of my K-pop Female Soloists plastic surgery analysis video. I'm personally not too familiar with the group, so please excuse possible mistakes I may have made. I have done an analysis on Sunmi and Hyuna in the K-pop Female soloist analysis K-POP FEMALE SOLOIST PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS (moncatcher.blogspot.com). Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.

DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.

YUBIN

It's interesting to see Yubin with shorter hair in the pre-debut photos. She looks amazing both with long and short hair. I personally think Yubin got a rhinoplasty as her nose looks small for the proportions of her face. We can also see a clear separation of the top of her nose from the rest of her nose, this is usually a sign of rhinoplasty. She likely got a nose implant to achieve this look. Her lips are also fuller now, she likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips. It also seems like she got her outer eye corners cut as her eyes look larger horizontally.

Pre-debut Yubin vs. Recent Yubin

In conclusion, I think Yubin likely got rhinoplasty, fillers to upper and bottom lips and outer eye corners cut. She has always looked amazing. I wish her the best for her solo career.

YEEUN

Yeeun has adorable pre-debut photos online. Her eyes are larger vertically compared to the pre-debut photos, she likely got ptosis repair or double eyelid surgery to achieve this look. Her nose looks slightly slimmer especially the bridge. She likely got the cartilage shaved down slightly to achieve this look. She also likely got botox injection to her jaw muscle to make her jawline smaller. I think the possible procedures were really well done and didn't change her appearance too much.

Pre-debut Yeeun vs. Recent Yeeun

In conclusion, I think Yeeun likely got ptosis repair/double eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty and botox injection to her jawline. I wish her the best for her solo career.

SUNYE

Sunye has adorable pre-debut photos online, she has always had a nice bright smile. Her right eye used to be slightly smaller than her left while they are the same size now. She likely got ptosis repair to achieve this look. Other than that, I don't think I see changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.

In conclusion, I think Sunye likely got ptosis repair. She has always been pretty. I wish the best for her and her family. Fans should respect her choice of focusing on her family.

SOHEE

Sohee has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos, she didn't seem to have changed much at all. I personally don't see changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.

In conclusion, I think Sohee is likely natural. She has always been really pretty and doesn't look much different. I think she will retain a youthful look for a long time.

HYELIM

Hyelim has adorable pre-debut photos online, she has always had large eyes. I think her eyes are likely natural as her eyelids are shallow. I think she may have gotten a rhinoplasty as her current nose has a distinct separation of the bridge from the rest of her nose which is usually a sign of a nose implant. Her nose bridge is also higher compared to the pre-debut photos.

In conclusion, I think Hyelim likely got a rhinoplasty. She has always been really pretty, and I don't think the possible rhinoplasty was necessary as her original nose fits her face really well.

I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
