LOVELYZ PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS
Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of Lovelyz. It's unfortunate that the group have disbanded, I hope all the members are happier and can do greater things in life. This was requested in the comments section of my Oh My Girl plastic surgery analysis video. I'm not too familiar with the group, so I apologize in advance if I make any mistakes. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.
DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.
BABY SOUL
I couldn't find many pre-debut photos of Baby Soul and the photos I found are blurry, so I might miss some procedures. I think the most obvious change to her face are her lips that became fuller, she likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips. Her nose bridge is also slightly slimmer now, she likely got a rhinoplasty.
In conclusion, I think Baby Soul likely got a rhinoplasty and fillers to her top and bottom lips. She has always been pretty. I wish her the best for her solo career.
JIAE
Jiae has a adorable pre-debut selcas, she has always been pretty. To me the most obvious change to her face is her nose, her current nose bridge looks straighter and more separated from the rest of her nose than before. We can also see that her current nose bridge starts right below her eyebrows where in the pre-debut photo it used to start right about where her eyes are. This was likely caused by a nose implant. Her upper eyelids in the pre-debut photo looks to be slightly heavier, she may have gotten an upper blepharoplasty to remove some of the excess skin on her upper eyelids.
JISOO
Jisoo has adorable pre-debut selcas online, she has always been pretty. Many pre-debut photos are of her using filters and doing poses, so my analysis might be not as accurate. I personally suspect that she got a rhinoplasty as her nose looks to be really thin for the proportions of her face. I don't have enough proof of this though, so I will put it as a possibility. Other than that, I don't think I see changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
In conclusion, I think Jisoo possibly got a rhinoplasty. I don't think I can make a speculation I'm 100% confident in though. She has always been pretty, I wish her the best for her solo endeavors.
MIJOO
Mijoo has adorable pre-debut selcas online, she too has always been pretty. I think her eyelids are natural as they are uneven in size and her left eyelid has always been higher than the right in the pre-debut photos. I think the most obvious change to her face is her nose. Her current nose looks slimmer compared to the pre-debut photos, she likely got a rhinoplasty.
In conclusion, I think Mijoo likely got a rhinoplasty. I personally think the possible rhinoplasty wasn't necessary as her current nose looks too small for the proportions of her face. She has always been pretty. I love her big bright smile; she is truly blessed with good looks.
KEI
Kei has a lot of adorable school photos online; she has always been pretty. I think the most obvious change to her face is her nose. Her current nose is more projected and more upturned compared to the pre-debut photos; she likely got a nose implant to achieve this look. I personally think the possible rhinoplasty wasn't necessary as her current nose looks over-projected to me. She used to have a weak profile. I think she got a chin implant to bring her chin forward slightly.
In conclusion, I think Kei likely got a rhinoplasty and chin implant. She has always been pretty. I wish her the best for her career as a musical actress.
JIN
Jin has always had round eyes and has been pretty. Her eyelids are higher now, I think she may have gotten double eyelid surgery to achieve this look. I think this way because when her eyes are not fully open, her eyelid crease is very clear and consistent. That is usually a sign of double eyelid surgery. Other than that, I don't think I see changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery. She tends to use beauty filters in her selcas, which is why she can look different in selcas.
In conclusion, I think Jin likely got double eyelid surgery. She has always been pretty. I wish her the best for her solo career.
SUJEONG
Sujeong has always been adorable since childhood. She didn't seem to change too much. I don't think I see changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
YEIN
Yein has always been pretty since childhood. She didn't seem to change much. I was initially suspicious of her nose, but her nose didn't seem to change at all from the pre-debut photos.
In conclusion, I think Yein is likely natural. She is truly blessed with good looks. I wish her the best for her solo career.
I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
