T-ARA PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS

 Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of T-ara. This was requested in the comments section of my WJSN plastic surgery analysis video. I'm not too familiar with the group, so this post will be more to the point. For T-ara I will not be including the members who have not officially debuted and I will not be including a member who was proven and admitted to have lied about being bullied by the other members and ruined their careers. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.

DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.

BORAM

I couldn't find many recent photos and pre-debut photos of Boram so my analysis may not be accurate. Her eyelids look natural to me as in the pre-debut photos her eyelids tend to fluctuate in size. Her nose looks different to how it was in the pre-debut photos. She likely got a nose implant to make her nose more projected. There is a clear separation of her nose bridge from the rest of her nose, this is usually a sign of a rhinoplasty especially because she didn't have this clear separation in the pre-debut photos. Her cheekbones look to be less prominent now, she likely got a cheekbone reduction. Her jawline also looks smaller, she likely got her jaw shaved to make her jawline less square and prominent. 

Pre-debut Boram vs. Recent Boram

In conclusion, I think Boram likely got a rhinoplasty, cheekbone reduction and her jaw shaved. I think she has always been pretty and the possible procedures weren't necessary in my opinion. I hope she is doing well now.

QRI

Qri has always been pretty in the pre-debut photos available, there's not too many of them so I might miss some procedure. I think she got double eyelid surgery. Her eyelids used to be a lot smaller than how it is now. She also probably got her inner and outer eye corners cut to make her eyes horizontally larger. Her nose is also smaller in general now, she likely got a nose implant to make her nose more projected and look smaller from the front view. Her lips look to be the same size compared to the pre-debut photo. Her chin has a different shape now, she likely got a chin implant as her chin looks pointier and longer and seem to have been brought forward slightly compared to the pre-debut photo.

Pre-debut Qri vs. Recent Qri

In conclusion, I think Qri likely got double eyelid surgery, her inner and outer eye corners cut, rhinoplasty and chin implant. I personally think many of the procedures weren't necessary as she has always been really pretty. I wish her the best in her career and businesses she runs.

SOYEON

There is a school photo of Soyeon that looks really different from the other pre-debut photos of her, it seems like she likely have already gotten plastic surgery in most of the pre-debut photos of her available online, so I might miss some procedures. The most obvious change to her face are her eyes, she used to have small eyes with monolids, while she currently has vertically larger eyes with double eyelids. This was likely achieved by ptosis repair paired with double eyelid surgery. She has always had prominent aegyo-sal so they're probably natural. Her jaw also look to have changed slightly, this was likely caused by braces as braces can change a person's jaw and mouth area. Her nose looks slimmer and more defined now, this was likely caused by a rhinoplasty.

Pre-debut Soyeon vs. Recent Soyeon

In conclusion, I think Soyeon got ptosis repair paired with double eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty and braces. I think the possible procedures were really well done and enhanced her beauty in the best way possible. She announced that she is getting married earlier this year, I would like to congratulate her and wish the best for her future family.

EUNJUNG

Eunjung has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online, she has always been pretty. The biggest change to her face is her chin, her chin used to be longer compared to how it is now, she likely got a chin reduction. Her eyes are likely natural as they didn't seem to change at all compared to the pre-debut photos. I also suspect that she may have gotten a rhinoplasty, her nose didn't look too different from the pre-debut photos, but her nose shows signs of rhinoplasty. Her nose shows clear separation of the bridge of her nose with the rest of her nose, when this separation wasn't apparent in the pre-debut photos. This separation was probably caused by a nose implant.

Pre-debut Eunjung vs. Recent Eunjung

In conclusion, I think Eunjung likely got a chin reduction and a rhinoplasty. I think the possible procedures enhanced her already beautiful face really well. 

HYOMIN

Hyomin has a school photo where she looks really different to how she looks like now and to her other pre-debut photos. She probably got double eyelid surgery as her current eyes are a lot larger vertically compared to the pre-debut photos. A person's eyes tend to get smaller as they age from childhood, so it makes sense that her eyes became smaller as she aged which she then made larger possibly using double eyelid surgery. Her eyes are also larger horizontally now, she likely got her inner and outer eye corners cut to achieve this look as her eye shape completely changed. Her nose didn't look to change much, her nose is not perfectly straight, so I think her nose may be natural.

Child Hyomin vs. Pre-debut Hyomin vs. Recent Hyomin

In conclusion, I think Hyomin got double eyelid surgery, her inner and outer eye corners cut. I think the possible procedures were really well done and enhanced her natural beauty nicely.

JIYEON

Jiyeon has always had horizontally large, close set eyes. She didn't seem to change much from the pre-debut photos. Her eyes are likely natural as they didn't change at all from the pre-debut photos. Her eyelids are higher now, I think this was likely caused by eyelid tape as her eyelids look pretty shallow. Her nose looks slightly slimmer compared to the pre-debut photos, I think she got a rhinoplasty. Other than that, I don't think I see other changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.

Pre-debut Jiyeon vs. Recent Jiyeon

In conclusion, I think Jiyeon likely got a rhinoplasty. She has always been pretty. She also announced that she is getting married this year, I wish her the best for her future family.

AREUM

Areum wasn't in the group for long, but I will still be analyzing her. Areum has a lot of pre-debut selcas online, she has always been pretty. The only change I see to her face is her nose. We can see a clear separation of her nose bridge from the rest of her nose now, this wasn't too clear in the pre-debut photos. I think she got a rhinoplasty. Other than that, I don't think I see other changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery. 

Pre-debut Areum vs. Recent Areum

In conclusion, I think Areum likely got a rhinoplasty. She has always been pretty, I wish her the best for everything she does in life.

I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
