SEVENTEEN PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS (HYUNG LINE)

This is my third post on my series of analyzing possible plastic surgery procedures that are done by K-pop Idols. I think plastic surgery is neither bad nor good. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it  so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.

DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. I will be dividing the Seventeen analysis into 2 parts as they have 13 members, so this post will just be the hyung line (S.Coups up  to Woozi). With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.

SCOUPS

S.Coups was such a cute child and I don't see too much changes between his predebut photos and recent photos. Here are some of his adorable baby photos.

I see some changes in his eyes which can be due to ptosis repair, but I'm really not sure about this as his eye size didn't seem to change at all.

In conclusion, I think S.Coups is completely natural. There is a very slight possibility that he got ptosis repair but, I wouldn't bet my money on it. I guess this makes him the first natural K-pop Idol among the idols I've analyzed so far. He was truly blessed with good looks. Anyway, I don't know if I like seeing him with Jeonghan being partners in crime or him betraying Jeonghan more in Going Seventeen.

JEONGHAN

Jeonghan also had really cute baby photos. I think he had one of the best glow-ups in K-pop, he became so pretty after debuting. He has always been very good-looking though as seen in the photo below. I do see some changes to his face. The distance between his eye and eyebrow became shorter in the recent photo, this can be due to double eyelid surgery or ptosis repair. I'm leaning more towards ptosis repair or suture double eyelid technique (non-incision) as his eyelids often change in size.

Debut Jeonghan vs. Predebut Jeonghan

I also see some changes in his nose later in his career, his nose used to be a bit beak-like (the tip of his nose droops down, making the side profile of the tip lower than the bridge), but now his nose is more straight in side profile view. He likely got the bump on the bridge of his nose shaved down to create a straight nose bridge in profile view.

In conclusion, I think Jeonghan got a suture double eyelid technique and a rhinoplasty. It's very entertaining to see how Jeonghan is going to cheat in games they play on variety shows. Even though he is well known for his ability to cheat in games, he is also known for his kind and understanding nature. The Seventeen members often come to him for emotional support, I can tell he plays a big role in the group.

JOSHUA

Joshua didn't seem to change much from his predebut photos. He's always had big eyes and nose and has always been handsome. I love his naturally upturned lip corners, it makes him look cat-like. I think many Carats have noticed how his nose changed in the last few years. He likely got rhinoplasty to make the bridge and the tip of his nose slimmer and taller using an implant.

In conclusion, I think Joshua got a rhinoplasty. I don't think he needed to get the rhinoplasty, his natural nose really fits his face, but I guess a slimmer nose does look better on camera. I love how attentive he is, and how he acts like such a gentleman. But he has a silly side to him (like how he can walk on his hands).

JUN

Jun used to be a child actor, so there is a lot of predebut photos of him and they were all so cute. He had always been handsome. He has always had horizontally large eyes and a sculpted tall nose.

I don't see much changes to his face at all. I find it hard to believe that his amazing nose is natural, so I searched online to see what people think. Some people believe that he got filler on the bridge of his nose to make it straighter, so I will write this down as a possibility though I myself don't really see it.

In conclusion, I think it's a possibility that Jun got filler to his nose, though I wouldn't bet my money on it. Like S.Coups, Jun is also natural. He's really blessed with good looks. His side profile is just perfect. He's such a surprisingly funny guy, I love his cute jokes and slightly awkward personality, such a contrast with his intimidatingly handsome appearance.

HOSHI

Hoshi was such an adorable child, he used to have the chubbiest hamster cheeks. He also had always have cute upturned eyes. Here are some of his cute childhood photos.

Predebut Hoshi

I see subtle changes to his eyes, his current eyes look to be slightly larger horizontally, making me believe he got an inner corner cut. His chin also look to be more pointy compared to his square chin in the predebut photo, he likely got a chin implant to achieve this look. His nose in the recent photo also look to be more projected compared to his flatter nose during predebut. It's likely he got a nose impant to achieve this look. His buccal fat area also seem to be a lot smaller compared to his predebut photos, this can be due to buccal fat removal or maybe he just lost his baby fat.

Many Carats also noticed that he got veneers.

In conclusion, I think Hoshi got his inner eye corner cut, rhinoplasty, chin implant and veneers. It's also a possibility that he got some of his buccal fat removed. His dancing and choreographing talent amazes me every time. Despite being the leader of the performance unit, he is also good at singing and rapping. He's truly an all-rounder.

WONWOO

Wonwoo didn't look to change much when looking at his childhood photos, he used to have chubbier cheeks. But, he has always had horizontally large eyes and a nice bone structure. I don't see much changes to his face at all.  His chin got wider, but this can be natural as a guy's chin can get wider through puberty.

With that being said, I still suspect that he had something done to his nose. His current nose looks slightly more projected and slimmer compared to his nose during predebut. Now, there is also a pretty clear line on at the sides of the bridge of his nose, which can indicate and implant. He also might've gotten ptosis repair so his eyes open slightly more vertically, but I'm not sure about this.

Predebut Wonwoo vs. Recent Wonwoo

In conclusion, I think Wonwoo got a rhinoplasty and possibily got ptosis repair. He has always been blessed with a good looking face. The possible procedures he did are very well done, they look natural and they enhanced his looks really well. I love how despite looking cold, he is such an adorable person with a soft heart.

WOOZI

Woozi also didn't look to change much when comparing his predebut photos with how he looks now. It seems like he will retain his baby face for a long time. I see some changes to his nose. His current nose is slimmer and taller compared to his nose during predebut. He likely got a rhinoplasty to achieve this. His eye inner corners also seem to be slightly different. His current inner corners look sharp, while during predebut it was rounded. This can be due to inner corner cut so make his eyes slightly larger horizontally.

Predebut Woozi vs. Recent Woozi

In conclusion, I think Woozi got a rhinoplasty and his inner eye corners cut. The possible procedures he did were very subtle and they kept his natural features. This made me believe that he was natural at first. I find it amazing that Woozi makes the majority of Seventeen's discography. He's really a music genius, I'm blown away everytime by their releases.

I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
