SISTAR PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS

Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of Sistar. This was requested in the comments section of my K-Actors plastic surgery analysis video. I'm not too familiar with the group, so this post will be more to the point. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.

DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.

BORA

Bora has adorable pre-debut photos online, she has always been pretty. She used to have monolids while she has shallow double eyelids now. I think this was likely due to eyelid tape and the natural process of losing baby fat. As a person age and loses their baby fat, they also lose fat on their eyelids which can make the eyelid folds form to be clearer and more consistent. This process was also likely helped by training her eyelids using eyelid tape. Her eyelids have always seem to not be filled with too much fat to begin with which makes it easier for her to manipulate her eyelids using eyelid tape. Her nose looks slightly slimmer to me. I think the change was likely due to makeup though it's also possible that she got a subtle rhinoplasty to make her nose slightly slimmer. I'm not too sure about this so I will put it as a possibility. Other than that, I don't think I see other changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.

In conclusion, I think there's a possibility that Bora got a rhinoplasty though it's also totally possible that her nose is natural. She's truly blessed with good looks. I wish her the best for her acting career.

HYOLYN

Hyolyn has a lot of adorable yearbook photos online. The most obvious change to her face are her eyes, her eyes used to be smaller vertically and the distance between her eyes and eyebrows used to be farther compared to now. Double eyelid surgery can make the eyes larger vertically and decrease the distance between the eyes and eyebrows. When her eyes are not fully open, we can see a clear consistent line on her eyelid crease which is usually a sign of double eyelid surgery. Her nose used to be rounder while her current nose looks slimmer and more defined especially her nose tip. She likely got a rhinoplasty to achieve this look.

In conclusion, I think Hyolyn likely got double eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty. I think the possible procedures were really well done and enhanced her looks nicely. I loved seeing her on Queendom 2, let's all support her solo career. Her songs have been amazing so far.

SOYOU

Soyou has adorable childhood photos online. The most obvious change to her face is her nose. Her nose used to be rounder and bulkier compared to how it looks like now. She likely got a nose implant to make her nose bridge more projected and slimmer paired with alar base reduction to make her base of her nose narrower. She may have also gotten double eyelid surgery as when her eyes are not fully open, we can see a clear consistent line on her eyelid crease. Her lips are also slightly fuller recently, she likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips.

 In conclusion, I think Soyou likely got a rhinoplasty with alar base reduction, double eyelid surgery and fillers to her top and bottom lips. She has always been pretty. I wish her the best for her solo career.

DASOM

Dasom has adorable pre-debut photos online. I find that Hyolyn and Dasom looks similar sometimes, I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Her eyelids look higher now as she used to have monolids, she may have gotten double eyelid surgery to achieve this look. I don't think there are other changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.

 In conclusion, I think Dasom likely got double eyelid surgery. She has always been pretty. I wish her the best for her solo career. I'm happy to see Sistar reunite and perform on stage recently, Sistar was such an iconic group and their presence in the industry will be missed.

I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
