2NE1 PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS
Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of 2NE1. This was requested in the comments section of my Aespa plastic surgery analysis video. I'm not too familiar with the group, so I apologize in advance if I make any mistakes. 2NE1 is such an legendary group, I hope all the members are happier and can be even more successful with their solo careers. I love seeing their reunion recently.
Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.
DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.
PARK BOM
Park Bom's possible plastic surgery procedures are often talked about by many people online. She allegedly got a lot of plastic surgery because their company keeps on calling the 2NE1 members "ugly", which made her addicted to plastic surgery. With that being said, I will try to analyze her as objectively as possible. Her nose became a lot slimmer compared to the pre-debut photo, she likely got a rhinoplasty. It seems like she got more than one rhinoplasty as the results of her rhinoplasty is quite different from her original nose. So it's totally possible that she got multiple rhinoplasty to come to a result she is satisfied with. Her chin is also sharper now, she likely got a chin reduction to make her chin less round and more pointy. Her lips are also a lot fuller now, she likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips. She also likely gets fillers or fat grafting to her cheeks. She did gain weight compared to earlier in her career which will make her cheeks fuller. But her cheeks are not smooth, which makes me suspect that she gets fillers to her cheeks. She likely did this to get rid the appearance of wrinkles. It seems like all the possible procedures she did were done so she looks more doll-like.
Park Bom also likely got double eyelid surgery. She tends to use really heavy make up so it's not too obvious when her eyes are fully open, but when her eyes are not fully open, we can see a clear consistent line on her eyelid crease. This is usually a sign of double eyelid surgery. There's also a possibility that she got a jaw reduction as her jaw bone looks a lot less prominent.
In conclusion, I think Park Bom likely got multiple rhinoplasties, double eyelid surgery, jaw and chin reduction, fillers/fat grafting to her cheeks and fillers to her top and bottom lips. I don't think she needed the majority of the possible procedures. It's unfortunate if she was really pushed to possibly do so many procedures because the company kept on calling her ugly. I hope she is more confident in her own skin now and I wish her the best for her solo career.
DARA
Dara has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online, she has always been pretty and didn't seem to have aged at all. The most obvious change to her face is her nose. Her nose is more projected compared to the pre-debut photos. She likely got a nose implant to achieve this look. Other than that, I don't think I see other changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
In conclusion, I think Dara likely got a rhinoplasty. I think the possible rhinoplasty was really well done and enhanced her beauty in the best way possible. She has always been pretty and blessed with good looks. I wish her the best for her solo career.
CL
CL wears really heavy make up, which is why she looks really different compared to the pre-debut photos and photos of her without make up. Most of the changes to her face are probably caused by make up. I don't think there are changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
In conclusion, I think CL is likely natural. She has always been pretty. It's really interesting to see how much make up can change a person's face. I love how she has her signature make up look. She looks amazing with and without make up, just really different vibes.
MINZY
Minzy has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online, she didn't look to change too much. The only change to her face that I see is her nose. Her current nose is slimmer and more projected compared to the pre-debut photos. We can also see that the shape of her nostrils are different now, the outer part of her nostrils used to be more visible, while now the inner part of her nostril is more visible from the front view. She likely got a nose implant to achieve this look. Other changes to her face are likely caused by make up.
In conclusion, I think Minzy likely got a rhinoplasty. I think the possible procedure was really well done and enhanced her beauty nicely. She looks great both pre-debut and now. I wish her the best for her solo career.
I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
