NCT 127 PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS
Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of NCT127. This was requested in the comments section of my ITZY plastic surgery analysis video. I'm not too familiar with the group, so this post will be more to the point. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.
DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.
TAEIL
Taeil has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online. He didn't seem to change much at all. The most obvious change I see to his face is his nose. His current nose bridge is a lot smaller and more separated from the rest of his nose, he likely got a rhinoplasty. He also likely got botox injection to his jawline to make it slightly smaller. His jaw in the pre-debut was squarer while his current jaw is more oval. Botox injections weakens the muscle it's injected to; therefore, it can make the jawline smaller.
JOHNNY
Johnny has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online. He also didn't seem to have changed much. His jawline became stronger which is a normal change that happens in male puberty. He also likely got a lot leaner since being an idol which can reduce the amount of facial fat that results in stronger jawline. His nose bridge is straighter and taller in the three-quarters view, I think he got a rhinoplasty using a rib graft to make his nose bridge straighter. The possible rhinoplasty looks really natural, and his nose bridge is still as large as it used to be. His eyes also look slightly larger vertically to me. He may have gotten ptosis repair, I think this way because in the pre-debut photos, it didn't look like his eyelid folds are visible when his eyes are fully open, while we can see little eyelid folds when his eyes are fully open now.
TAEYONG
Taeyong has a lot of adorable childhood photos online, he has always had large eyes and has always been handsome. It looks like he lost a lot of weight from his childhood. The weight loss caused his bone structure to be more prominent. The most obvious change to his face is his nose that became slightly slimmer and more defined. His eyes also look slightly larger horizontally, I think he got his inner eye corners cut. Other than that, I don't think I see other changes to his face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
In conclusion, I think Taeyong likely got a rhinoplasty and his inner eye corners cut. He has always been handsome, and I think possible procedures were really well done and enhanced his beauty in the best way possible even though I don't think he needed any of them.
YUTA
I couldn't find reliable pre-debut photos of Yuta where he likely hasn't gotten plastic surgery. Before looking at his pre-debut photos, I suspected that he got a rhinoplasty as there is a really distinct separation of the bridge of his nose from the rest of his nose.
In conclusion, I think Yuta likely got a rhinoplasty. I personally think the possible rhinoplasty was unnecessary as his nose bridge looks too thin for his face. He has always been handsome; I love how he looks amazing both with short and long hair.
DOYOUNG
Doyoung has a lot of adorable yearbook photos online, he has always been handsome. The most obvious change to his face for me is his jawline. His jawline used to be squarer while his jawline is more oval and rounded now. I think he got botox injection to his jawline to make his jawline smaller and less square. His eyes are slightly larger vertically now, we can also see that he has visible eyelids when his eyes are fully open, when he used to have monolids. He likely got double eyelid surgery. His nose also looks slimmer now, he likely got his nose cartilage shaved down slightly to make his nose slimmer. His nose tip is also lifted up slightly, he probably got his nose top lifted so we can see more into his nostrils from the front view too.
In conclusion, I think Doyoung likely got botox injection to jawline, double eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty with nose lift. I personally think many of the possible procedures weren't necessary as he has always been handsome, and I really don't think he needed any of them.
JAEHYUN
Jaehyun has adorable yearbook photos online, he didn't seem to change much and has always been handsome. The biggest change to his face are his eyes that became slightly larger vertically, I think he got ptosis repair to achieve this look. His cheeks have lost some volume, this may be caused by weight loss and him getting leaner, but it's also possible that he got partial buccal fat removal. Though I do think it's more likely that he lost facial fat naturally due to dieting and exercise.
In conclusion, I think Jaehyun likely got ptosis repair. He has always been handsome; I love his dimples. He's truly blessed with good looks.
JUNGWOO
Jungwoo has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online; he has always had nice full lips and has always been cute. The most obvious change to his face to me are his eyes. He used to have monolids while he has small double eyelids now, he likely got ptosis repair to achieve this look. We can see when he is looking down, he has a clear consistent eyelid crease while he used to not have eyelid crease visible in the pre-debut photos. In this comparison, we can also see that his nose is more projected, and the bridge looks straighter. He got a slightly deviated septum, he likely fixed it via rhinoplasty. Fixing a deviated septum can have practical impacts to the individual such as making them breathe easier. He also likely got a nose implant while getting the rhinoplasty to make his nose more projected and appear slimmer.
In conclusion, I think Jungwoo likely got ptosis repair and a rhinoplasty. He has always been handsome and cute at the same time. He's truly blessed with good looks.
MARK
Mark has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online; he didn't seem to change much at all since childhood. I love his pre-debut mirror selcas. He lost a lot of baby fat which makes him appear more mature. I personally don't see changes to his face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
In conclusion, I think Mark is likely natural. He was adorable during pre-debut and grew up to be really handsome. He's truly blessed with good looks.
HAECHAN
Haechan has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online. I have to mention that I love his golden skin tone. I personally don't see changes to his face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
In conclusion, I think Haechan is likely natural. He grew up really nicely, he's truly blessed with good looks.
I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
