OH MY GIRL PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS

 Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of Oh My Girl. This was requested in the comments section of my NMIXX plastic surgery analysis video. I'm not too familiar with the group, so this post will be more to the point. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.

DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.

HYOJUNG

I couldn't many clear pre-debut photos of Hyojung, so I might miss some procedures. She didn't seem to change much, I think her eyes are natural as they didn't seem to change at all. Her nose has always been small and is on the flatter side, I'm not too sure, but I believe her nose is natural. The biggest change to her face is her jawline area, the right side of her jaw used to be larger compared to the left. Her jawline looks more even now, this was likely caused by botox injection to her right jaw. Many people who have uneven jawline often get botox injection to the larger side of their jaw. This procedure will also help people practically as the jaw will not be uneven in strength which can cause other problems. Other than that, I don't think I see changes to her face that are likely caused by plastic surgery.

In conclusion, I think Hyojung likely got botox injection to the right side of her jaw. She has always been pretty, I love her big bright smile.

JINE

JinE left the group as she suffered with an eating disorder, I hope she is doing a lot better now. Her eyes and eyelids are larger after her debut, I think this was caused by eyelid tape as her eyelid crease are not deep and are non consistent in size. She may have gotten ptosis repair as her eyes open slightly wider vertically, though this can also be due to her posing for the camera. Her nose looks natural to me. She lost a lot of volume on her face, which was probably caused by weight loss.

In conclusion, I think JinE is likely natural or may have gotten ptosis repair. I'm glad she chose to leave the group to focus on her recovery, her health is the most important thing. She has always been pretty, I hope she is living a happy and healthy life now.

MIMI

Mimi has adorable school year book photos, she has always been pretty. I think the most obvious change to her face are her eyes. She used to have monolids, while she has double eyelids now. When her eyes are not fully open, her eyelid crease is not clear and consistent, I think her eyelids are probably formed by training her eyelids using eyelid tape. Double eyelids formed by surgery will have one single clear crease on each eye. An example of this is Jessi, who has admitted to getting double eyelid surgery. Her nose looks the same from the pre-debut photos and her nose doesn't show indications of rhinoplasty. I don't think there are changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.

In conclusion, I think Mimi is likely natural. She has always been pretty I love how it seems like the company doesn't force the members to get plastic surgery.

YOOA

Yooa has adorable school photos online. I think many people realize that her lips are a lot fuller now, she likely gets regular fillers to her top and bottom lips. I do think she is over-doing the fillers slightly, but if that's the look she wants, then so be it. She used to have monolids while she has pretty consistent double eyelids now. I think this was caused by suture eyelid surgery, this is a non-incisional method which results in more natural looking double eyelids.

In conclusion, I think Yooa got suture eyelid surgery and fillers to her top and bottom lips. She has always looked amazing. She has denied plastic surgery accusations, so remember that my conclusions are purely my opinions.

SEUNGHEE

I love Seunghee's eyes, it makes her stand out from the group. I think her eyes are natural and I'm glad she didn't choose to alter her eyes using plastic surgery. Her face shape remains the same, she just lost some volume on her face which I think are probably caused by weight loss and the normal ageing process. Her nose is also likely natural as it is not perfectly straight. Her nose looking different from the front view is probably due to make up.

In conclusion, I think Seunghee is likely natural. I love her adorable visuals. She is truly blessed with good looks.

JIHO

Jiho has a lot of year book photos online, she has always been pretty. She didn't seem to change much, the only change to her face is the volume of her face which I believe was caused by weight loss and the natural ageing process. I believe she is also natural.

In conclusion, I think Jiho is likely natural. She is truly blessed with good looks. I wish her the best for her future endeavors. 

YUBIN

Yubin used to be a child model, so we have a lot of childhood photos of her. She has always been pretty and didn't look to change much. The biggest change to her face are her eyes, she used to have monolids, while she has double eyelids now, I think she got suture double eyelid surgery as her current eyelids are pretty consistent in size and when her eyes are not fully open, we can see a pretty consistent line on her eyelid crease.

In conclusion, I think Yubin possibly got suture eyelid surgery. She has always been pretty, I love her long elegant neck.

ARIN

Arin has adorable year book photos online. The only change I see to her face are her eyes, she used to have monolids, while she has small double eyelids now. This was likely caused by subtle double eyelid surgery. Her eyelids are consistent in size and we can see a clear consistent line on her eyelid crease when her eyes are not fully open. She likely did this possible procedure after her debut in Oh My Girl as she still had monolids in the beginning of her career. She also lost volume on her cheeks, I think this was likely caused by weight loss and the natural ageing process as the change isn't drastic.

In conclusion, I think Arin likely got double eyelid surgery. She too has always been pretty, I think her visuals evolved in the best way possible with age. I was surprised to find out that the members of Oh My Girl didn't use a lot of surgical intervention to improve their looks. I'm glad they didn't get plastic surgery as all of them are already pretty to begin with. Props to the company for not pressuring the members to follow the beauty standards so closely. 

I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
