ITZY PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS
Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of Itzy. This was requested in the comments section of my Momoland plastic surgery analysis video. I'm not too familiar with the group, so this post will be more to the point. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.
DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.
YEJI
Yeji has a lot of adorable pre-debut content online; she didn't look to have changed much. I love her eye shape, I'm glad she didn't choose to alter her eyes to meet the beauty standard. The only change to her face that I think is due to plastic surgery is her nose. It's not too obvious, but her nose used to have a bulkier tip compared to how it looks now. The possible rhinoplasty was really well done, it was very subtle, so her nose still looks recognizable, and the procedure upgraded Yeji's visuals in the best way possible.
LIA
Lia has a lot of pre-debut photos online, most of the photos look like she was old enough to get plastic surgery, so I might miss some procedures. She didn't look to change much from the pre-debut photos. The biggest change to her face is her nose, her current nose is more projected compared to the pre-debut photos, she probably got a nose implant to achieve this look. Her forehead also looks slightly rounder now, she likely gets fillers to her forehead as the change isn't too drastic. The possible procedures were really well done and enhanced her beauty nicely without changing her original features too much.
In conclusion, I think Lia likely got a rhinoplasty and fillers to forehead. She has always been pretty; she's truly blessed with good looks. I love her full eyebrows.
RYUJIN
Ryujin has a lot of adorable childhood photos online; she didn't seem to change much. Her nose and chin are likely natural as they didn't seem to change at all from childhood. Her eyelid crease seems to be higher now, she may have gotten suture eyelid surgery to make her eyelids higher, but it's also possible that she trains her eyelids to be higher using eyelid tape. I'm not too sure about this, so I will put it as a possibility. Her lips have been slightly fuller lately, she likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips
In conclusion, I think Ryujin likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips and possibly got suture eyelid surgery. She has always been pretty. I love her confident girl-crush aura.
CHAERYOUNG
Chaeryoung has a lot of adorable childhood photos online, she looks a lot like her sister Chaeyeon. The most obvious change to her face is her nose, her nose used to be rounder and bulkier while her current nose is slimmer and more projected. In some angles, we can sometimes see a shape resembling a nose implant on her nose. Her eyes are also larger vertically now, she likely got double eyelid surgery or ptosis repair to achieve this look. Her lips are also slightly fuller now, she likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips.
YUNA
Yuna has a lot of pre-debut photos online, she has always been pretty and didn't seem to change much. She debuted at a really young age, so it's less likely for her to already got plastic surgery, though I wouldn't put it past the industry. It seems like she was natural in her debut days, then sometime in her career, she got a rhinoplasty. Her nose tip is less bulbous now and her nose bridge became straighter when it used to taper outwards.
In conclusion, I think Yuna is likely got a rhinoplasty. She has always been pretty; she's truly blessed with good looks. I find that Yuna and Lia looks similar in some photos, I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that way.
I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the idols for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
