STAYC PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS
Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of STAYC. This was requested in the comments section of my IZ*ONE plastic surgery analysis video. I'm not too familiar with the group, so this post will be more to the point. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.
DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.
SUMIN
Sumin has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos, she has always been really pretty. I don't see many changes to her face. Her face seems to have lost a lot of volume and seem to be slightly narrower now, this was likely caused by weight loss as the change isn't extreme. I believe her eyelids are natural and she probably uses eyelid tape to make her eyelids even. I think her nose is also likely natural and the difference we see sometimes is probably caused by make-up. She may have gotten subtle fillers to her top and bottom lips as her lips look slightly fuller now.
In conclusion, I think Sumin likely got fillers to her top and bottom lips. She has always been pretty, I love her cute smile.
SIEUN
Sieun used to be a child actor so there's a lot of pre-debut content of her online, she has always been pretty. I think the only change I see to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery are her eyes. Her current eyes look slightly larger horizontally, I think she likely got her inner eye corners cut.
ISA
Isa has a lot of pre-debut photos online, it seems like she was old enough to get plastic surgery in most of the photos online. There are a few photos when she is younger and we can see that she used to have monolids, she likely got double eyelid surgery. When her eyes are not fully open, we can see a clear consistent line on her eyelid crease, this is usually a sign of double eyelid surgery. I also suspect that she may have gotten a chin implant as her current chin looks pointier and slightly longer compared to her chin in the childhood photo.
SEEUN
Seeun has a lot of school photos online, she has always had large eyes and full wide lips. I think she may have gotten botox injections to her jaw muscle to make her jawline smaller as her current jawline look to be smaller.
In conclusion, I think Seeun likely got botox injections to her jawline and a rhinoplasty with alar base reduction. She has always looked great, I think the possible procedures were really well done. She is one of the prettiest idol I've ever seen.
YOON
Yoon has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online, she has always had a small nose. Her eyes open wider vertically now, this was likely caused by ptosis repair. She used to have shallow inconsistent double eyelids, while her current eyelids are a lot more consistent. This change may be caused by eyelid tape as her eyelids are not always the same size and when her eyes are not fully open, the crease line isn't that deep and is sometimes not present.
J
I couldn't find many pre-debut photos of J, so I might miss some procedures. I don't think I see any changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery based on the pre-debut photos available.
I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
