GIRLS GENERATION (SNSD) PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS
Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of Girls Generation. This was requested in the comments section of my Le Sserafim plastic surgery analysis video. I'm not too familiar with the group, so this post will be more to the point. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.
DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.
TAEYEON
Taeyeon has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online, she didn't look to have aged at all. I think Taeyeon got double eyelid surgery. She has always had large eyes, but her eyelids were a lot smaller compared to how it is now. When her eyes are not fully open, we can see clear consistent lines on her eyelid crease, this is usually a sign of double eyelid surgery. She may have also gotten her outer eye corners cut as the ends of her eyes look less upturned now.
Her face looks more narrow in general now especially at her jawline area, I think she may have gotten her jaw shaved. She also likely got a rhinoplasty as her current nose is a lot smaller now. I personally think the possible rhinoplasty wasn't necessary as her current nose looks over-projected. She also likely gets fillers/fat graft to her cheek area as her face looks fuller compared to her more hollow cheeks in the pre-debut photos. Her top lips also look slightly fuller now, she likely got fillers to her top lip.
JESSICA
Jessica has always been really pretty and she didn't seem to change too much. She likely got a chin reduction to make her forward projecting chin to be straighter on her profile. Her eyelids, jawline and forehead are likely natural. She likely got a rhinoplasty to make her nose slightly more projected and slimmer, her nose tip also became longer, this was likely caused by an L-shaped nose implant.
In conclusion, I think Jessica got a chin reduction and rhinoplasty. She has always been pretty, she's truly blessed with good looks.
SUNNY
Sunny has always had nice upturned lip corners. She used to have monolids, but now she has double eyelids, she likely got double eyelid surgery. She also likely got a rhinoplasty as we can see that the bridge of her nose is smaller and more defined now and we can see straight lines on the sides of the bridge of her nose. Her chin also looks longer and sharper now, she likely got a chin implant. Her jaw area also look smaller now, she likely got her jaw shaved so her face is more v-shaped.
In conclusion, I think Sunny got double eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, chin implant and her jaw shaved. She looks great both pre-debut and now.
TIFFANY
The pre-debut photos of Tiffany I found are blurry, so I might miss some procedures. I think the most obvious change to her face are her eyes. She used to have monolids, while she has double eyelids now. I think this change was due to suture eyelid surgery as her current eyelids look natural and are uneven. Her nose tip is longer now and her nose looks more defined in general, she likely got a rhinoplasty.
In conclusion, I think Tiffany got a rhinoplasty and suture eyelid surgery. I think she has one of the prettiest smiles I've ever seen.
HYOYEON
Hyoyeon has adorable pre-debut photos online. I think the most obvious change to her face is her nose, her nose looks slimmer and more projected now, she likely got a rhinoplasty. Her eyelids also look to be higher now, she likely got double eyelid surgery. I think this way because when her eyes are not fully open, we can see a clear consistent line on her eyelid crease. Her eyes also look larger horizontally now, she likely got her inner and outer corners cut. Her eyes used to have a rounder shape, while her current eyes are more elongated.
In conclusion, I think Hyoyeon got a rhinoplasty, double eyelid surgery, and her inner and outer eye corners cut. I don't think the possible procedures were necessary as I think she already looks great pre-debut.
YURI
Yuri didn't look to change much. I think the biggest change to her face are her eyes, she has double eyelids now, this was likely caused by double eyelid surgery. I think this way because when her eyes are not fully open, there is a clear and consistent line on her eyelid crease. Her current nose also looks more projected and her nose tip is longer now, this was likely caused by an L-shaped nose implant.
SOOYOUNG
Sooyoung didn't seem to change much, she has always been pretty. I think she got a rhinoplasty as her current nose looks slimmer especially recently, I don't think this possible rhinoplasty was necessary as I think her original nose fits her face better. Her current forehead looks rounder compared to the pre-debut photos, I think she may have gotten a forehead implant, though I'm not 100% sure as she has bangs often.
YOONA
Yoona has always been really pretty, she also didn't look to change much. I think the most obvious change to her face is her nose, her nose looks a lot slimmer now and we can see clear lines on the sides of the bridge of her nose, this is usually a sign of a rhinoplasty. Her forehead also looks rounder now, she likely got a forehead implant.
Yoona may have also gotten lower blepharoplasty as her current lower eyelids look to be less puffy compared to the pre-debut photos. Other than that, I don't think I see other changes to her face.
In conclusion, I think Yoona likely got a forehead implant, rhinoplasty and lower blepharoplasty. She has always been really pretty, I understand why she was the first idol to get the visual title.
SEOHYUN
Seohyun didn't look to change much at all, she has always been pretty. I don't think I see changes to her face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
