RANKING WEKI MEKI TITLE TRACKS

In this post I will be ranking Weki Meki's title tracks, I love the majority of their title tracks, I don't understand why they are so underrated, they release amazingly catchy songs. I hope they can get comebacks more often as I really enjoy their music. I also think people don't talk more about their choreography and dancing skills, I love watching their dance practice. They are all amazing dancers and have incredibly satisfying choreography.

These are just my subjective opinions so you can respectfully disagree. I don’t have background knowledge in music, I am just someone who enjoys music and doing this just for fun. I also didn’t take into account the lyrics in the songs as I am someone who can enjoy music without knowing the meaning of the songs and I don’t understand Korean. Without further ado, I will start.

9. La La La

This is not a bad song by any means, I just find it to be more forgettable compared to their other songs. This is a very catchy song. Their vocals sounds amazing in this song and I love the short catchy rap verses.

8. I Don't Like Your Girlfriend

This is an iconic debut song, I love the energy in this song. This is a more rap heavy song, I think they did a great job. I find Suyeon's vocals on the second verse to be a bit out of place at first, but I like it now. I put it this low because their other songs are a lot better in my opinion.

7. Cool

I found the whisper-rap parts in the beginning to be a bit weird, but I like it now. It makes for a more intense build up in the song. I don't usually like talk-singing sections in choruses, but it's really well done in this song. I think the rap sections in the bridge could've been better written. Though I love the vibe this song has, I think the aspects I don't usually like in songs oddly makes this song have the vibe I like and makes it more memorable.

6. Dazzle Dazzle

I really really love the choreography to this song, I think this is my favorite choreography from them. If you haven't seen it you really are missing out. I'm also obsessed with Elly's blue hair. With that being said, I personally like their other songs more, I'm not the biggest fan of the rap sections in this song. I do love the melody in the chorus and the post chorus, they're incredibly catchy.

5. Crush

This is an iconic era, the song is incredibly catchy. I love the switch up between the loud beats in the verses to the more quiet pre-chorus building up to the chorus. I rank this song fifth because I like their other songs more and I find them more interesting.

4. Siesta

This song is different that the usual Weki Meki I know and love and I was taken aback at first, but I  really like the song. I love the sentimental vibes in this song. The vocals are really nice I think they all did a really good job. This song is just as catchy as other Weki Meki songs and I find myself singing it often. It's unfortunate that Doyeon wasn't able to join promotions due to an injury.

3. Tiki Taka

This song also has a slightly sentimental vibe but is more cheerful and energetic than Siesta. I find this song very catchy and interesting, I don't know why this song is one of their less known ones. I love the vocals and melody in the pre-chorus and chorus. I also love the the adlibs in the final chorus, I think it really completes the song nicely.

2. Oopsy

I also find it hard to believe that this song is on of their less known ones. I find this song to be very catchy and addicting especially Lua's "turn on the light" and Elly's vocals in the chorus. I honestly can't explain why I love this song so much, you should just listen to this song if you haven't to know what I mean. This is a very challenging song to sing, so props to the members for doing a great job.

1. Picky Picky

This is one of the best K-pop songs I've heard and I'm not exaggerating. It's a catchy song with amazing instrumentals and the background vocals and adlibs are amazing. The members did a good job singing this song, their vocals complete the catchiness of this song perfectly. Check this song out if you haven't, in my opinion you're missing out on great music if you haven't.

This is a ranking and some songs need to be put at the bottom, though I enjoy all of their title tracks. I love Weki Meki because they have really catchy songs with interesting choreography, so I really enjoy seeing their stages. I hope they can get more frequent comebacks, I know they will only release good music and will blow me away with their choreography.
