ASTRO PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS

 Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of Astro. This was requested in the comments section of a my Lovelyz plastic surgery analysis videos. I'm personally not too familiar with the group, so please excuse possible mistakes I may have made. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.

DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.

MJ

MJ has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online. He has always had an adorable smile. Before looking at his pre-debut photos, I suspected that he got a rhinoplasty as his nose looks really small and tall for the proportions of his face, but his nose didn't change too much from the pre-debut photos. We can see that his nose did get slightly smaller, taller and more upturned compared to the pre-debut photos and his older photos. I think he likely got a nose implant to make his nose slightly taller and slimmer. I personally think this possible procedure wasn't necessary as his original nose already fits his face really well.

In conclusion, I think MJ likely got a rhinoplasty. He is currently serving his mandatory military enlistment. I wish him the best and I hope he can return safely. 

JIN JIN

Jin Jin has adorable pre-debut photos online, he didn't seem to have changed too much. His eyes look to be slightly larger compared to the pre-debut photos. We can also see that the distance between his eyes and eyebrows have decreased slightly. This was likely caused by ptosis repair. I suspect this possible procedure was also done for practical purposes as he used to have a lot of excess skin on his upper eyelids.

In conclusion, I think Jin Jin likely got ptosis repair. He has always looked great; I like how he chose to embrace his naturally good looks instead of trying to replicate the Korean beauty standard.

CHA EUNWOO

Cha Eunwoo has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online. He has always been really handsome and didn't seem to change much from the pre-debut photos. I personally think that Cha Eunwoo is a natural beauty.

In conclusion, I think Cha Eunwoo is likely natural. He was born with really good features. He's truly blessed with good looks.

MOONBIN

Moonbin used to be a child actor, so we have a lot of pre-debut content of him. He didn't look to have changed much and has always been handsome. I personally don't see changes to his face that are likely due to plastic surgery.

In conclusion, I think Moonbin is likely natural. He has always been good looking. He's truly blessed with good looks.

ROCKY

Rocky has adorable pre-debut photos online, he didn't look to have changed much at all. He has always had deep, well-defined eyelids since childhood. His nose grew larger in size as he aged. I personally think he is also likely natural.

In conclusion, I think Rocky is likely natural. I wish them the best for his future career after leaving the group.

SANHA

Sanha has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online. He has always been handsome and didn't seem to have changed much. His eyes look slightly larger vertically to me. We can see that he has really small crease on his eyes now compared to his monolids in the pre-debut photos. He may have gotten ptosis repair to achieve this look, though this can also be a natural part of the ageing process.

In conclusion, I think Sanha possibly got ptosis repair. He has always looked great.

I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
