EXO PLASTIC SURGERY ANALYSIS
Hello everyone, today I will be analyzing the possible plastic surgery procedures of the members of EXO. This was requested by a few people in the comments of my plastic surgery analysis videos. I'm not too familiar with the group, so this post will be more to the point. Celebrities have immense pressure to look the best as they possibly can, which can be helped by plastic surgery. I think it will be a healthier environment if celebrities (not just K-pop celebrities) are more open about the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures they’ve done or at least not lie about it so the general public can see that beauty is attainable through plastic surgery.
DISCLAIMERS: I’m not a plastic surgeon nor have I gotten plastic surgery, so my knowledge in this area is limited (my knowledge mostly comes from Youtube really). These are just my personal opinions and not facts so you can respectfully disagree. This post is not meant for fuel to send hate to the members as they are probably pressured by the industry they’re in to look as good as they possible can. Pre-debut photos of K-pop idols are usually unclear, so my judgement can be completely wrong. With that out of the way, I’ll start with my analysis.
XIUMIN
Xiumin has a lot of adorable childhood photos online. He lost a lot of weight since childhood, which I think is the biggest reason why his face changed. I think his chin changed slightly, his current chin looks slightly wider and more defined. He likely got a chin implant to make his chin look more masculine. Though it's also possible that his chin became larger due to puberty.
In conclusion, I think Xiumin possibly got a chin implant. He has always been handsome. He looks really young for his age, it's as if he didn't age at all.
SUHO
Suho has a lot of pre-debut photos online, he has always been handsome and didn't seem to have changed too much. His nose is slimmer now and we can see more into his nostrils, he likely got a nose implant to achieve this look. His eyelids are higher now, he likely got double eyelid surgery to achieve this look. When his eyes are not fully open, we can see a clear consistent line on his eyelid crease which is usually a sign of plastic surgery.
In conclusion, I think Suho likely got double eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty. He has always been handsome, I don't think he needed the possible procedures, but they were well done in my opinion.
LAY
Lay has a lot of adorable childhood photos online, he didn't seem to have changed much. His nose is more defined, and the nose tip is longer now. He likely got a nose implant to achieve this look. Other than that, I don't think I see changes to his face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
In conclusion, I think Lay likely got a rhinoplasty. I think the possible rhinoplasty was well done. He has always been handsome, I love his sleepy eyes and his dimples.
BAEKHYUN
Baekhyun has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online, he didn't seem to have changed at all. His eyes look slightly larger vertically, I think he may have gotten ptosis repair. When his eyes are not fully open, we can see that he has a small eyelid crease now when it wasn't there in the pre-debut photos.
CHEN
Chen has adorable pre-debut photos online, he didn't seem to change much at all since childhood. His jawline looks slightly smaller and less square now, he likely got botox injections to his jaw muscle to make his jawline smaller. Botox injections to the jaw weakens the jaw muscle which makes the jawline appear smaller. It's also possible that he got jaw reduction to achieve this look which is a more invasive procedure that takes a long time to heal. From the side profile view, we can see that his nose is more projected now, he likely got a nose implant to achieve this look. His eyelids look natural to me as they are inconsistent in size.
In conclusion, I think Chen likely got jaw reduction/botox injection to jawline and rhinoplasty. He has always been good looking. I love his strong bone structure. I want to congratulate him for getting married and starting a family, I wish them the best in life.
CHANYEOL
Chanyeol has a bunch of pre-debut photos online, it's interesting to see so many pre-debut photos of an idol. His eyelids are probably natural as his upper eyelids has always been not filled with too much fat and excess skin. His eyelids could've just developed naturally as he aged or helped by eyelid tape. His left eye has always had ptosis since childhood until this day, I think his eyes are completely natural. Ptosis is a condition where the eyelid muscles are not strong enough, so the eyes don't open fully or as wide as the other eye.
D.O.
D.O has adorable pre-debut photos online; he also didn't seem to change much. I personally don't see changes to his face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
In conclusion, I think D.O. is likely natural. He has always been adorable and handsome at the same time. He's truly blessed with good looks.
KAI
Kai has adorable pre-debut photos online. The most obvious change to his face are his eyes that open wider vertically. His eye shape also changed. We can see that his upper eyelids used to be heavy and filled with a lot of fat and excess skin. He likely got upper blepharoplasty to remove the excess skin and fat on his upper eyelids paired with double eyelid surgery so his eyes can open wider vertically. When his eyes are not fully open, we can see a clear consistent line on his eyelid crease which is a possible sign of double eyelid surgery. He may have also gotten lower blepharoplasty as his lower eyelids look slightly less puffy compared to the pre-debut photo. His nose is also more projected in the side profile view and looks slimmer and more defined from the front view. He likely got a rhinoplasty to achieve this look.
SEHUN
Sehun has a lot of adorable pre-debut photos online, he has always been handsome. Before looking at his pre-debut photos, I thought he had a rhinoplasty as his nose is small, upturned and projected, but after looking at his pre-debut photos, I think his nose is likely natural as he has always had the same nose since childhood. I still find it hard to believe that his nose is likely natural. I think he may have gotten some sort of eyelid correction to make his double eyelids more consistent and deeper. Other than that, I don't think I see other changes to his face that are likely due to plastic surgery.
In conclusion, I think Sehun likely got double eyelid surgery. He was born with a perfect nose, a handsome face, and nice body proportions. He really won the genetic lottery.
I hope anyone reading this takes this post in a positive way as my intention is not to shame the members for getting plastic surgery. We need to understand that K-pop idols and other celebrities have a lot of pressure to look good and it's not a bad thing for them to resort to plastic surgery as it is what is demanded by society.
